Special coronavirus vaccination camps were held at Valparai and tea plantation areas in Valparai, Coimbatore district. The camp vaccinated 270 people in Valparai, 168 in Tata Estate, 145 in PPTC, 130 in Jayasree, 156 in Iyerpady, 159 in Waterfall, 168 in Wood Brior, 89 in Solaiyar Estate, 144 in Moodys and 50 in Kadampara.
Previously, the application was filled after verification of the Aadhar card of the beneficiaries. Both men and women in the camp were eagerly vaccinated. More women than men attended the camp and were vaccinated.
The camp was enthusiastically attended by a large number of workers, traders and the general public including Valparai, Regional Resource Center Chief Physician Babu Lakshmanan, Government Primary Health Center Physician and Nurses Tea Plantation Physicians Nurses.
