Public demand to complete the work of the municipal ground in Valparai ..!
Coimbatore: The Valparai Football Association and the public have demanded that the work on the municipal ground in Valparai be completed as soon as possible.
The famous Nachimuthu football ground is located in Valparai, Coimbatore district. At the request of the Valparai Football Association and the public, the ground which was in a very dilapidated condition, was started to be repaired and restored rapidly by the municipality a few months ago. The work was put on hold following the assembly elections.
Now that nearly two months has gone after the assembly elections, the municipal ground is once again being badly damaged by vehicles entering the grounds due to lack of security. Therefore, the action of the concerned Municipal Commissioner has been requested by the Football Association and the general public to expedite and repair the ground work which has been put on hold due to elections and coronavirus pandemic. In the interest of the football players, the football association requests the administration to use this downtime to expedite the work in restoring the ground.
