Coronavirus warrior members petition Coimbatore District Collector for vaccination drive
Coimbatore: A delegation of Covid-19 warrior members of Suparswanath Jain temple and SSJSM Covid-19 youth warriors led by SSJSM President Sripal Ostwal petitioned the District Collector, G S Sameeran for speedy distribution of vaccines.
The delegation also comprised of DMK Coimbatore District Trade Organizing Secretary, Naresh Jain, RG Street Jain temple committee member Bheru Jain and SSJSM Covid-19 warrior Mukesh Singhvee.
Addressing the media later, Naresh Obani and Sripal Ostwal stated that the temple authorities and SSJSM are providing free food to Rajasthani Covid Centre which is providing free treatment to Covid patients and SSJSM volunteers for the past 15 months. We have been serving and helping society to overcome Covid-19 and since our volunteers are vulnerable and have also been unable to get vaccinated in spite of waiting in long queues, we are requesting the Collector to help them get vaccinated. They can work without fear if they are vaccinated and the Collector has assured us of getting th eneeded help."
Vijayraj Jain, President of Suparswanathth temple thanked the District Collector and Naresh Obani and others, for the initiative. Kishore Jain, founder member of SSJSM said that the Jain temple on RG Street with the cooperation of SSJSMvolunteers has always worked in reaching out to the needy.
He said that all work including cooking and packing of food is of the highest standard and, doctors and staff of Rajasthani Covid Centre had visited the temple at R G Street to get a first-hand experience and were satisfied by the arrangements made.
