Locals in Valparai urge district authorities to provide additional vaccine stock
Coimbatore: Health officials in Valparai are beefing up preventive measures against further spread of Covid-19 in Valparai.
Vaccination of all those above 18 years of age is currently in progress in Valparai. On Thursday, 168 doses of vaccinations were administered to the Tata Group, Wood Briar Group, BPTC Group and Water Falls Group in Valparai, with 156 doses administered to Parry Agro and Jayasree.
A vaccination camp was held at Valparai Government High School in Valparai. A large number of people queued up eagerly for their vaccinations only to return disappointed since there was no stock. Therefore, in the interest of the public, locals in Valparai have requested the concerned departmental authorities to provide additional vaccination in and around Valparai.
