Commissioner inspects Infectious Disease Testing and Solid Waste Management Project Works in Coimbatore Corporation
Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner inspected the work being carried out under the Solid Waste Management Program and advised the field staff on disinfection to the public.
The Corporation Commissioner inspected the field workers' door-to-door visits to Gandhima Nagar, Ward No. 41, Coimbatore North Zone, Ward No.41, for conducting cold, fever, cough, body temperature testing and pulse oximeter detection of body oxygen levels.
The Corporation Commissioner also inspected the work of sorting garbage from houses in Cyprus Apartment flats in the Puliyakulam Road area under Ward No.55, Coimbatore Corporation North Zone into compostable and non-compostable garbage.
The Corporation Commissioner then inspected the work of collecting garbage and transferring it to the Vellalore landfill under the Solid Waste Management Project in the Peelamedu area under Ward No. 38, North Zone, Coimbatore
