Man arrested for applying for anticipatory bail after cheating on girlfriend in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: The man who sought anticipatory bail after falling in love with a woman and cheating on her was arrested. Karthik, 29, of RS Puram, fell in love with a woman from Chettipalayam, Podanur, Coimbatore.
The two, who went to Bangalore for an interview, stayed in the same room in the hotel. Karthik, who had sexual intercourse with the woman, expressed his desire to marry her and then refused to marry her. The RS Puram women's police had registered a case against Karthik and were searching for him.
Karthik filed the petition in the District Sessions Court, seeking anticipatory bail. The trial took place via video conferencing. The government prosecutor said that Karthik had been arrested. Following that anticipatory bail petition was dismissed.
