All industries need relaxations to operate: Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India demands
Coimbatore: The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India has requested the Government of Tamil Nadu to relax restrictions on types of businesses in Coimbatore.
Balasubramanian, Coimbatore branch president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India, said: “Trade, industry and services are facing difficulties due to the curfew. Therefore, we request the District Administration to recommend to the Government of Tamil Nadu to operate all shops from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and all types of businesses from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
He said businesses and stores have promised to follow guidelines while operating and therefore requested the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to consider relaxing the opening of businesses and shops in Coimbatore.
