Mass cleaning drive on at all 5 zones of Coimbatore Corporation to clear debris
Coimbatore: A mass cleaning drive is being carried out extensively in 100 wards in five zones under Coimbatore Corporation.
Sanitary staff are collecting household waste separately into compostable and non-compostable waste.
In order to further intensify these clean-up operations, areas with debris that have been stagnating for long have already been identified zone-wise in all parts of the Corporation and clean-up operations are being carried out.
Sanitary workers cleaned debris in East Zone Ward 60, M.R.R. Layout, Ward No.57 Masakalipalayam Road, Ward No.66 Meena Estate Main Road, Ward No.17 Bommanampalayam, Ward No.18 Thondamuthur Road Near Alamelumangai Avenue, Ward No.13 Amman Temple Road, North Zone Ward 41 Balamurugan Nagar, Ward No.31 Daisy Corner, Ward No.42 Vellakkinar Road, South Zone, Ward No.96 Mudaliar Road, Ward No.98 Pollachi Road, Ward No.93 Min Nagar, Central Zone Ward No.45 Gounderthottam, Ward No.45, Vethambal Nagar, Ward No.74 and in RG Nagar Primary School.
