Court orders AIADMK Divisional Secretary to surrender for issuing death threats to Panchayat leader in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: The Court has ordered the surrender of AIADMK's IT and Divisional Secretary Madhusudhanan who threatened to kill the Coimbatore Panchayat leader.
On June 4, food was distributed to health workers on behalf of the Panchayat at Arisipalayam near Madukkarai. During that time, Madhusudhanan, the Divisional Secretary of the local AIADMK's IT wing threatened to kill the Panchayat leader and stopped him from distributing food.
Following a complaint, the police registered a case against Madhusudhanan and launched a search for him. Madhusudhanan then filed a petition in the District Sessions Court seeking anticipatory bail. The trial judge upheld the bail. Within 15 days, the Madukkarai Magistrate Court ordered him to surrender after the lockdown was relaxed and asked Madhusudhanan to appear at the concerned police station and sign.
