Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner inspects East Zone Urban Primary Health Centers
Coimbatore: The Corporation Commissioner has advised field workers to go door-to-door in the East Zone to check those with cold, flu, cough, body temperature and oxygen levels.
The Corporation Commissioner inspected the Coimbatore Corporation East Zone Urban Primary Health Centers and enquired about the work done by field workers.

While speaking to the workers, the Corporation Commisioner urged the workers saying that the most important task at hand was to go door-to-door and regularly inspect everyone in the houses, while on duty. He said everyone should work by wearing a mask, sanitizing their hands frequently and getting vaccinated.

Later in Ward No. 57, Masakalipalayam, Mahalakshmi Nagar, the Corporation Commissioner inspected roadside garbage dumps. The sanitary workers were also instructed to do their assigned work properly, wear a mask and get vaccinated.

He then inspected the Uppilipalayam Primary Health Center under Ward No.57. He enquired about the pregnant mothers, vaccines for mothers, treatment methods and registration and maintenance of the maternal health care card. Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy also conducted a study on the subsidy provided under the maternity scheme.

Following this, the Corporation Commissioner inspected the building construction at Primary Health Center and directed the concerned authorities to expedite the work in Singanallur, under Ward No.63.

East Zone Monitoring Officer Paul Princy Rajkumar, Municipal Officer Raja, Murugan Assistant Zonal Commissioner East Zone Murugan, Zonal Health Officer Chandran and Corporation officials were present during the inspection.
