AITUC motor vehicle union protests in Tirupur demanding control of petrol and diesel price hike
Coimbatore: AITUC Motor Vehicle Union protested in front of the Tirupur Kumaran Memorial demanding withdrawing of petrol and diesel prices have risen sharply and the central government should take immediate action to curb prices as they have already been affected by coronavirus lockdown.

They said it has severely affected drivers of self-driving vehicles and hence time should be given for payment of insurance and FC until December. They also demanded a monthly stipend of 7,500 rupees for drivers affected by the lockdown.
