District Collector Sameeran visits Coronavirus Patients in Yoga Training on the occasion of International Yoga Day at CODISSIA Campus, Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: On the occasion of the International Yoga Day, a yoga training class was conducted with the Ayurvedic and medical team at the Coimbatore CODISSIA campus for more than 200 persons affected by the Covid-19 virus infection.

The District Collector personally visited and discussed with the persons affected by the virus.

Speaking to the reporters he said, "Today, as part of the International Yoga Day, yoga classes were held at the Coimbatore CODISSIA campus for those suffering from and being treated for Covid-19 virus infection to teach them yoga. Following this, the Tamil Nadu government yesterday extended the lockdown order with relaxation by dividing it into three categories. Coimbatore district is in the third category. The lockdown has been extended like last week without any relaxation. The lockdown would continue for a week."
