Thirteen persons were arrested and Rs. 6600 confiscated from gamblers in Ramapattinam near Pollachi
Coimbatore: In Pollachi, there were complaints of illegal gambling in the surrounding areas, including Ramapattinam and Gopalapuram on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border.
Following this, the police led by Pollachi taluk police station Sub-Inspector Rajesh Khanna conducted a search. It was then revealed that about 13 people were gambling in Satish Kumar's farm in Ramapattinam village. Following this, the police arrested 13 persons involved in illegal gambling, registered a case against them and confiscated Rs.6600.
