Air Arabia to operate weekly 2 flights between Coimbatore - Sharjah
Coimbatore: Air Arabia is set to operate weekly 2 flights between Coimbatore-Sharjah. At present Air Arabia is the only airline which provides international flight service at Coimbatore International Airport. That too only incoming passengers are allowed to travel to Coimbatore and in return only cargo is allowed to be loaded back to Sharjah. During this month till June 15 only one flight was operated each week. Whereas after June 15, the airline has decided to operate 2 flights each week.
Aviation sources said, 'From June 15 till today 2 flights were operated between Coimbatore and Sharjah. Air Arabia would continue to provide this service on Friday and Sundays. The flight services would further increase based upon the decision taken by the government in the upcoming days.'
