Trials held by video conferencing in Coimbatore Court.
Coimbatore: Permission was granted to conduct the trial by video conferencing in court. Court proceedings were suspended as the lockdown was imposed.
After the lockdown was relaxed, some relaxations were granted during the first court hearing the day before yesterday. Accordingly, in the courts of Coimbatore, cases with prior permission, the trial was initiated through video conferencing. Thirty percent of employees came to work on a rotational basis.
A 'drop box' facility has been set up in front of the court premises to file new cases. On bail and pre-bail petitions, the order was issued on the basis of reply petitions filed online.
