Youths from Coimbatore help poor people who have lost their livelihood by providing groceries
Coimbatore: Youth from Coimbatore have been providing groceries to poor people who have lost their livelihoods in various parts of the city.
Many poor people are losing their livelihoods as the curfew is currently in place due to the spread of the corona epidemic. In this context, the youth of the ‘Humanity of People’, a voluntary organization in Coimbatore, are doing their best to help the people.

Surya, the founder of the voluntary organization, said, “We started this organization on March 23.03.2020 during the first wave of Coronavirus. We then distributed groceries to more than 150 families and vegetables to more than 500 families.

More than 50 auto drivers and more than 50 transgender people from Singanallur area have been provided lunch and groceries to more than 500 poor people and more than 100 people fromlower communities have been provided with essential groceries for a week. Covid-19 protection products for Swiggy & Zomato employees.

We plan to provide 250 ml of milk per month free of cost to the poor people living around Coimbatore in a few days and to provide groceries to more than 400 Anaikatti hill people for 10 days. ”

These social activities are being carried out jointly by Surya, Vishal, C. Prasanth, Ramasamy, Praveen, Akilan, Vishwa, Akshay, and Soumya.
