Naam Tamilar Party distributed 5 kg each worth of groceries and vegetables to 100 economically backward families in Chavady, Kinathukadavu constituency
Coimbatore: Groceries and vegetables were distributed to 100 families in Kamaraj Nagar area of Sundarapuram. Food items were also distributed to the families affected by the coronavirus for the last 20 days.

So far 1200 destitute and needy people have benefited from the distribution of lunch through the 'Food Assurance Scheme' to people living in the streets of Kinathukadavu Assembly constituency in Coimbatore. They were also given a face mask and a bottle of water daily.

Ashok Kumar and Rajkumar were in charge of the food assurance program. Field volunteers included Varadaraj, Rathinavel, Anbu, Dinesh, Aarumugam and Arvind.

They thanked all the fieldwork relations who contributed to the projects to succeed. They also thanked constituency managers Vijayaragavan, Abdul Waqaf, and Coimbatore West District Officers. They said they took pride in helping the needy during a crisis.
