Work intensified to widen Valparai-Pollachi main road


Coimbatore: Valparai Pollachi main road in Coimbatore district is located at a distance of 40 km. As Valparai is a tourist destination, a large number of vehicles used the road to Valparai.



Due to this the road widening works are being carried out actively on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Government Highways Department. Narrow road sections are being widened and barricades are being erected using machines near Ayarpadi Paralai Estate on Valparai Pollachi Road.

The Highways Department said that due to this, vehicles will be able to travel on the roads without any hindrance. They also said that widening work was being carried out on all the roads owned by the Highways Department in Valparai
