Medical college hostel student robbed of money, ATM and ID cards in Coimbatore; Police search for unidentified culprit
Coimbatore: Medical college student, Dr.Merlin who hails from Chennai is the daughter of Alexander Daniel and stays in the hostel campus of Coimbatore Government Hospital. While she was fast asleep in her room on Thursday, an unidentified person entered her room and stole Rs. 2,000 in cash, two ATM cards, a driver's license and an identity card.
When Merlin woke up suddenly, she was shocked to see an unidentified person in the room and screamed. The intruder fled the scene before anyone else could arrive. Merlin reported the matter to the Race Course police who rushed to the scene and conducted an investigation. The police have filed a case and are on the look out for the unidentified intruder.
