Corporation Commissioner inspects coronavirus prevention works in the west zone
Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner inspected coronavirus prevention works and sanitation works in the West Zone. The Corporation Commissioner inspected the Wholesale Vegetable Purchase Market located at Mettupalayam Road, Coimbatore and the Wholesale Vegetable Market and Flower Market operating in Saibaba Colony. He told the traders who buy bulk vegetables that everyone should wear a mask, adhere to the social distancing, be vaccinated and follow the guidelines of the government.
He inspected cleaning staff at the Mecricar Road in the West Zone and inspected the garbage being collected as compostable garbage, non-compostable garbage. He visited the collection center in the 24th Ward, West Zone and inspected the waste sorting facility. He inspected the 23rd Ward Corporation SRP Ammani Ammal Girls' High School Camp and the field workers involved in inspecting symptoms of Coronavirus infection and gave advice on the tasks involved in the prevention work
Later, he inspected the work done by the field workers at the camp held at the Ramalingam Colony under the 22nd Ward. He visited and inspected the ongoing multi-level car parking under the Sirmigunagar project on Diwan Bahadur Road in RS Puram. The Corporation Commissioner inspected the progress of the work of uploading the details of the victims of the coronavirus infection in the computer in the coronavirus control centre building set up at the West Zone Office of the Coimbatore Corporation.
