Boy from Kinathukadavu donates Rs.2000 saved for birthday attire toward Covid-19 Relief Fund
Coimbatore: Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Kinnathukadavu Anna Nagar area had intended to celebrate his son Harshavardhan's birthday grandly but the boy studying in Class 6 chose instead to donate the Rs. 2,000 saved for his birthday attire toward the Chief Minister's Coronavirus Public Relief Fund on Tuesday.
Harshavardhan handed over the money to the Tamil Nadu Food and Civil Supply Minister, R Sakkarapani at an event held at the Kinathukadavu Girls Government High School premises on Tuesday. Both officials and the public lauded the boy for his noble gesture amidst a global pandemic.
