Controlling the covid pandemic and reviving the economy were central themes discussed by CM MK Stalin in all District Collectors meeting through video conferencing
Coimbatore: Due to coronavirus, there are various lockdowns, new relaxations and restrictions in Tamil Nadu. As a result, the merchants in each district are paralyzed as they run small and micro factories and work for the private sector. The government as a whole has also lost revenue which will impact some non-essential services.
Following this, the Chief Minister is consulting with all the District Collectors from the General Secretariat through video conferencing today. It has been reported that he will soon be consulting on controlling the coronavirus and increasing the revenue of the state. CM Stalin is scheduled to hold consultations today with district collectors on coronavirus infection control measures.
The consultative meeting took place at the General Secretariat, Chennai, this morning, at 11:00 am, via 'video conference'. It was attended by district collectors and police SPs and department secretaries and senior ministers. It is learned that the meeting discussed measures to prevent coronavirus, lockdown relaxation and measures to eradicate the spread of coronavirus.
