72nd loaded oxygen express with LMO for Tamil Nadu arrives at Irugur near Coimbatore this morning
Coimbatore: Oxygen Express loaded at Rourkela, Odisha for Irugur Container Siding (near Coimbatore) with four containers carrying 77.78 MT (metric tonnes) of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) arrived at the destination at 07:25 hours courtesy Southern Railway on Tuesday. With this consignment arriving at its respective destination the total oxygen delivered to the state of Tamil Nadu is 5,434.14 MT as of this writing.
The first oxygen express train loaded with LMO arrived on 14 May 2021 and since then the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala combined have received a total of 5,566.70 MT of LMO through 72 oxygen express trains, a source from Southern Railway shared.
Delivery of LMO for Tamil Nadu has crossed 5,000 MT. As many as 68 oxygen express trains have delivered 5,052.98 MT of LMO for Tamil Nadu as on 14 June 2021.
