AITUC unions in Tirupur stage an attention grabbing protest against the hike in petrol and diesel prices


Coimbatore: As petrol and diesel prices are rising sharply, this will be a major burden on the public who may lose their livelihoods during the lockdown due to the Coronavirus.



AITUC unions staged a sit-in protest in front of the Tirupur District Collector's Office, condemning the rise in petrol and diesel prices to around 100 rupees in Tamil Nadu by tying rope to a truck and pulling it manually.
