Coimbatore: The government has issued guidelines for the prevention of coronavirus as Tasmac stores are to be opened in 27 districts in Tamil Nadu today.
The guideline states that customers have to make wooden blocks barricades in order to control the crowd. Circles should be drawn to help maintain social distancing. Liquor can be bought and sold at two counters in stores. Tokens should not be issued after 4 p.m. Liquor stores must close at 5 p.m.
Safety of Liquor Store Employees is important, hence all store employees must wear gloves and face masks. Hands should be washed frequently with disinfectant. Alcohol should be sold only to those who wear a mask. Bars must be kept closed. Similarly 18 guidelines have been published.
Tasmac has also advised district managers to continue to inspect liquor stores to avoid any issues. Tasmac officials and district revenue officials also consulted with police to prevent crowds at Tasmac stores.
