Coimbatore: Congressmen staged a protest in front of Petrol bunk in Valparai, Coimbatore district, condemning the hike in petrol and diesel prices. In Tamil Nadu, petrol price has gone up to Rs. 97 and diesel price is going up by Rs. 90. Motorists are urging the central government to reduce petrol and diesel prices, which are on the rise, and urge the central government to step down.


They demanded the Modi government to reduce in the price of cylinder gas. The Modi government has asked the government to reduce petrol prices and bring it under the GST levy to curb inflation.
