Coronavirus prevention activities intensified in Nanjundapuram, Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Various measures are being taken on behalf of the Corporation to control the spread of coronavirus infection in the Coimbatore Corporation areas. Every day, 4,500 employees go door-to-door to diagnose colds, flu and oxygen with pulse oximeters.
Meanwhile, 650 samples were taken in the last 10 days to detect the impact of the disease in Nanjundapuram, Coimbatore. As 56 were confirmed to be infected, the area was immediately isolated and actively monitored on behalf of the corporation.
An official of the corporation said, "People in the area are being visited and medical facilities are being set up to diagnose fever, cough, cold, shortness of breath, dizziness, excessive fatigue and diarrhea. No one is coming out of the isolated area. The area is sprayed with disinfectant 3 times a day."
