Coimbatore: All family card holders in Valparai were provided with bags containing rice and groceries as relief assistance.
Chepauk Assembly Member and DMK Youth Wing Secretary Udayanidhi Stalin presided over the event which was held at a private hall.
Bags containing rice groceries were presented at the ceremony.
Food and Civil Supply Minister R. Sakkarapani, Forest Minister K. Ramachandran, Pollachi MP Shanmugasundaram and other party officials and volunteers were present.
