MLA Udayanidhi Stalin, Minister R. Sakkarapani and Minister Ramachandran visits Valparai Welfare Aid and Hospital to launch Oxygen Production Center
Coimbatore: Due to rising coronavirus infection in Valparai, Coimbatore district, a relief program was organized on behalf of the DMK for the benefit of the tea plantation workers.
MP Shanmugasundaram and volunteers donated Rs 30 lakh for the construction of an oxygen production center at the government hospital. Udayanidhi Stalin, Member of Parliament for Valparai, R. Sakkarapani Minister for Food and Civil Supply, Ramachandran, Minister for Forests and Shanmugasundaram, Member of Parliament for Pollachi visited Valparai to inaugurate it.
He presented about 120 units of relief items at the event, which was held at a private wedding hall, and launched the necessary food items such as rice, lentils, sugar and salt to the general public in Valparai.
He then went to the government hospital in Valparai and cut the ribbon at the oxygen production plant there.
The event was attended by Coimbatore District South District Officer Thenral Selvaraj, Valparai Officer Palpandi, Former City Council Chairman, Kozhikadai Ganesan, Trade Wing Deputy Officer Vijayabaskar, Magudeeswaran, Krishnamurthy, Vadakadai Kutty, Former Councilor Sudhakar and Former Councilor Selvam
