SDPI protest condemning petrol and diesel prices in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: With petrol and diesel prices on the rise again, and petrol reaching Rs. 100, the middle class section of the public are facing the brunt. The prices of essential commodities have also been hiked. The SDPI party is leading protests across the country today, condemning the increase in petrol and diesel prices.
As part of this, the SDPI party staged a protest in front of the BSNL office in Coimbatore, led by party leader, Raja Hussain. Slogans were raised condemning the Central Government and urging it immediately withdraw the excise tax. The protesters also demanded that petrol and diesel prices should not be increased further.
