Repair work of laying electric lines between Kinathukadavu - Pollachi intensified
Coimbatore: Works of laying electric lines on Pollachi-Kinathukadavu-Podanur wide gauge railway line in Coimbatore district has been going on for the last few months.
In the first phase, more than a thousand poles have been laid on both sides of the railway line from Pollachi to Podanur via Kinathukadavu. The railway staff are involved in the work of aligning the electric wires attached to the poles for electrification work. With the help of a modern train engine the staff aligned the wires and inspected whether they were uniform
