Door-to-door inspection of flu symptoms intensified in Pollachi
Coimbatore: Coimbatore district has the highest number of coronavirus infections in Tamil Nadu. More than a hundred people are affected daily in Pollachi. Following this, as a measure to control the spread of the disease, temporary staff have been appointed on behalf of the municipality and Pollachi Sub-Collector Vaithiyanathan has ordered a door-to-door flu test for the public.
Following this, employees went door to door in all 36 wards of Pollachi municipality today to check for fever.
This work was initiated by Municipal Commissioner Gandhirajan. Officers on duty in the municipality will go door-to-door in the municipality to diagnose people with symptoms including fever, colds and coughs, take them for coronavirus test centre, admit infected people for treatment, and take survey of those who have been vaccinated, including those over 45 and check for co-morbidities, including blood pressure and diabetes.
