Mother of a 16 year old girl who went missing 4 months ago files a complaint at police station in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Vijayalakshmi hails from BK Puthur area of Coimbatore and has been living with her daughter since her divorce.
His 16-year-old daughter was a first year student at a private polytechnic college. Vijayalakshmi lodged a complaint with the Kuniyamuthur police after the girl who went to college four months ago went missing. The girl had called her mother a few days after her going missing saying she was in Andhra and has never contacted her since.
The mother said that the girl was abducted by a youth named Siva from Kavundampalayam area and said that there were more complaints against him in the Thudiyalur police station. She has filed a petition with the District Collector and the City Police demanding the immediate recovery of her daughter. She fears her daughter has been married to him while being a minor.
She made her petition in tears as she did not know if her daughter was alive or dead.
