Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District President of the Tamil Nadu Industrial and Micro Entrepreneurs Association, James thanked Chief Minister M K Stalin for taking steps to provide subsidy in a single installment.
In a statement released by the Association, James said, "Small entrepreneurs did not have access to credit in the bank and used the money in hand to avail loans from private financial institutions. The Government of Tamil Nadu subsidized 25 percent of the purchase price of the machine. One had to wait for three years to get the money in three installments.
On behalf of the Micro Entrepreneurs Association, we have been requesting the Government grant from 2016 to be provided in a single installment. M K Stalin, the present Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has complied with the request. On behalf of the entrepreneurs, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to him."
