Actor Sonu Sood’s charitable trust arranges oxygen cylinders for Covid patients in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Traveling in his own path to help people affected by COVID-19 in the second wave, the Bollywood actor Sonu Sood with his charitable trust, arranged oxygen cylinders to the Covid patients in Coimbatore. The actor had in May 2021 set up oxygen plants in Kurnool to help the infected people and who were in need of oxygen. It was told that the oxygen plant would be set up in a few states as well. Following the same, the actor’s charitable trust has joined hands with Poppy’s infrastructure in Coimbatore to provide oxygen cylinders to those who need it.
Speaking on it, Manoj, a volunteer from the trust said, 'The move to provide oxygen cylinders comes after the actor himself had approached them and assured to provide free oxygen cylinders through his trust. So far as many as 40 cylinders are in stock and we are open to provide them to those in need of it.'
