Ini Oru Vidhi Seivom Trust initiates 'Mobile Food Bank' in Tirupur during second lockdown
Tirupur: The Founder and Director of Ini Oru Vidhi Seivom Trust, Kavitha Jenarthanan said, "It has been over eight years since we launched the First Food Bank and a few more in Tirupur, and fulfilled the hunger of many needy people in Tirupur.
We also donated thousands of food packets in various locations. Now at this difficult time of an extended lockdown, Ini Oru Vidhi Seivom Trust are reaching out to many more hungry and needy people donating food to Government Hospital, Covid wards, pregnancy wards, general wards and their attendees, and also to homeless people in Tirupur through Our Mobile Food Bank."
She added, "Our activities during the second lockdown are Mobile Food Bank and total food distribution to GH patients, Covid ward, pregnancy ward, general ward and homeless people in Tirupur in the past three weeks was 6000 packets. 3000 masks have been distributed to various locations in Tirupur, 80 large umbrellas have been donated to Tirupur GH, Traffic Police Tirupur, Coimbatore GH, ESI Coimbatore and road size vendors. We have donated 300 kgs of bleaching powder to GH Tirupur and donated 100 disposable bed sheets to GH Tirupur."
