Go door-to-door to diagnose and isolate those with coronavirus symptoms: Sub-Collector appeals to authorities at consultation meeting in Pollachi
Coimbatore: Pollachi Sub-Collector Vaidyanathan has been additionally appointed as the Special Monitoring Officer for Infectious Diseases, Coimbatore District Municipality.
Following this, a consultative meeting was held at the Pollachi Municipality Office today with the participation of Municipal Secretaries, Health and Revenue Department officials. It discussed the steps to be taken to control the spread of the disease in the municipal areas. It was decided to go door-to-door to diagnose and isolate those with coronavirus symptoms and immunization measures should be taken expeditiously in isolated areas.
