Consultation meeting on Covid-19 prevention measures chaired by Minister KN Nehru held in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Review Meeting chaired by the Minister of Urban Development KN Nehru was held today.
In addition, Urban Development Minister KN Nehru issued an appointment order for 100 nurses with a salary of Rs. 12,000 to work during the Coronavirus disaster. He also enquired on the preventive measures being taken in the areas of the Corporation. Following this, he inspected the control room set up at the Coimbatore Corporation Kalaiarangam auditorium and gave advice to the Corporation officials.
He was accompanied by Minister for Food and Civil Supply R. Sakkarapani, Forest Minister K. Ramachandran, Coronavirus Special Monitoring Officer Siddiqui, Principal Secretary Jagannathan, Urban Development Secretaries, Coimbatore MP PR Natarajan, Additional Director of Municipal Administration Sivadas Meena, District Collector Nagaraj, Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian, and Corporation District Officers.
