All grocery, vegetable and meat shops in Tirupur district reopen following relaxations in lockdown
Tirupur: The Government of Tamil Nadu is taking various measures to prevent coronavirus infection. Shops in Tirupur district, including grocery and meat shops, have been reopened in the morning following the government's announcement of some restrictions on lockdown.
Especially at the Tirupur Thennampalayam vegetable market, a large number of shops were open today. All wholesale and retail grocery stores that had been closed for more than the past two weeks have reopened.

Public has been eagerly buying groceries since morning. Public followed social distancing as people have became aware of the severity of the coronavirus infection and only very less movement of vehicles could be seen on the roads.
