Coimbatore: West Zone IG Sudhakar launched a program to provide free oxygen on two-wheelers to those in the intensive care unit at the Vedanta Academy College in Keerapalayam, Coimbatore on behalf of the Sonu Sood Foundation. West Zone IG Sudhakar later addressed the media saying, 'The demand for Oxygen Cylinders is on the rise in Tamil Nadu. For the first time in Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore has kick-started the process of providing free oxygen cylinders on two wheelers and this will be increased gradually. On Sunday, the area around the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border was inspected and nobody was allowed into Coimbatore district without an e-pass. Only trucks continue to be permitted. I request the public to abide by the Government's restrictions and stay indoors', he added.
