There are more than 10 tribal villages in the Valparai hills of Coimbatore district. More than 2500 people live here in the forest. Currently the major infection of the corona is spreading in all areas.

Similarly, a medical team led by Babu Lakshmanan, a health department doctor in Valparai, went to Nedumkunnu Settu Mendu area to check whether the corona infection had spread to the tribal people living in the forest area.





There are 24 families there. There are more than 30 of them. They do not leave the forest area. They have been tested for colds and coughs and if anyone has colds they have a corona test. Doctors said that the spread of corona could be brought under control by setting up medical camps in tribal villages like this.
