Pollachi-Kinathukadavu-Coimbatore railway test run on railway track stability
Coimbatore: A test run on the stability and safety of the track was conducted today on behalf of the Southern Railway.
A team of Southern Railway engineers conducted a test run of the train equipped with modern machinery. Pollachi Kinathukkadavu Podanur railway station was inspected by a train departing from Palakkad railway station with 4 compartments this morning.
This was followed by a test run of a 110 km train from Coimbatore to Mettupalayam. Sources said in the Railway Department, regular inspections are being carried out on the stability and safety of railway tracks across the state.
