Sreenithi, E-routes Tours and Travels and Dr. Kalam Welfare Association jointly serve meals for poor and needy; 25,000 meals served thus far
Coimbatore: Sreenithi, E-routes Tours and Travels in association with Dr. Kalam Welfare Association inCoimbatore delivers free food service to Covid-positive patients in quarantine and for the needy people.
In view of the Covid-19 second wave, free food distribution service is being conducted on a regular basis. Sreenithi, E-routes tours and travels in association with Dr. Kalam Welfare Association in Coimbatore jointly serve food to Covid-positive quarantine patients and for the needy. This service was done during the first wave and at present during the second wave, the noble service is being continued.
According to Ranganathan and Sreenithi, they have served about 25,000 packs. The highlights of some of their service on a regular basis are Maniakarampalayam slum ( 100 packets), Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (100) packets breakfast, Avarampalayam slum (500 packets ), Seethalaxmi Hospital (75 packets every day). Apart from free food service, they have distributed about 350 ration kits to the poor and Covid patient’s kin.
Sreenithi highlights that they are ready to provide home delivery of free lunch and dinner to Covid-positive quarantined patients in and around Avarampalayam and Gandhipuram as well as the slums. Those who are in need and interested, can contact 98943-99577
