Sudhakar takes charge as West Zone IG in Coimbatore today
Coimbatore: Sudhakar takes over as West Zone IG in Coimbatore on Friday. He assumed charge as West Zone IG by signing files at his office at Race Course.
Amalraj was the West Zone IG and was promoted as Additional DGP in Chennai. Sudhakar who had been working as a DIG in Madurai Division was promoted to the post of West Zone IG for Coimbatore.
Similarly, Narendran Nair who was the DIG of Coimbatore has been transferred and appointed as the Joint Commissioner of Law and Order in Chennai.
Muthusamy takes over as the DIG of Coimbatore.
Police officials have congratulated Sudhakar on his appointment as the new IG. Murugavel who served as the DSP of the Land Grab Division in Salem has been appointed as the Assistant Commissioner of Intelligence in Coimbatore City Police.
Ramesh Krishnan, who served as Additional Deputy Commissioner here has been transferred to Nagapattinam Coast Guard.
