Special camp to vaccinate people over 45 years of age in Valparai
Coimbatore: Even as the first phase of administering Covid vaccines for 2000 people aged between 18 to 44 years had kick-started in Valparai, Coimbatore, as part of the third phase, the Coronavirus Vaccination Camp was held on Friday with vaccines administered to those over 45 years of age at the Valparai Government Men's High School premises.
Applications for those who registered for the Covid vaccine were filled up after verification of their Aadhar cards. Both men and women over 45 years of age enthusiastically participated in the vaccination drive. The camp was attended by a large number of public volunteers including Valparai District Tahsildhar Raja, Regional Center Chief, Dr. Babu Lakshmanan, City Secretary Attorney Paul Pandi, former City Council Chairman Kozhikadai Ganesan and former Councillor Selvam Sathyamoorthy.
