Series of blood donations camps held by DYFI to save lives in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: To combat the fast-spreading Coronavirus pandemic in Coimbatore, DYFI has been donating blood at the Coimbatore Government Hospital.
Pregnant women, those undergoing heart treatment and those involved in accidents require large quantities of blood at the Government Hospital.
Since the public are not allowed to step out owing to the complete lockdown, the executives of the DYFI approached the Coimbatore Government Hospital Blood Bank in the first week of May and offered to donate blood. For the past three days, the Youth Association has been donating blood at the rate of five units per day.

Today DYFI donated blood on behalf of the Periyanaickenpalayam Union Committee.

Periyanaickenpalayam Union Secretary, Raja, Blood Donation Committee Coordinator Vivekanandan and Union executives were present.
