Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner visits and inspects ongoing coronavirus prevention activities in the East Zone of Coimbatore Corporation.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner inspected Covid-19 preventive drives in the East Zone of Coimbatore Corporation.
He inspected the Coimbatore Corporation East Zone Ward No.68, Ramanathapuram Road, Corporation Middle School and advised the public to adhere to social distancing while being vaccinated.
Later, the Corporation Commissioner instructed those sitting in front of an open private two-wheeler repair shop in ward no.57, Kasturi Gandhinagar area to disperse and ordered the owner to close the repair shop so as to prevent crowding in front of the shop as well as to follow adequate social distancing.
Then, the Corporation Commissioner asked the Covid Care Special Car Ambulance driver who was stationed at Kasturi Gandhi Nagar area if too many people were being taken to the hospital daily.
The Commissioner also asked a physically challenged woman in the same area if she had been vaccinated.
Following this, the Corporation Commissioner advised 100 temporary nurses who had arrived at the Coimbatore Corporation Head Office for Covid prevention work to do the field visit with proper safety precautions.
During the inspection he was accompanied by Engineer Ravichandran, Zonal Health Officer, Health Inspectors, Health Door Inspectors and Corporation Officers.
