Friends of Sholayar Dam and Samuthaya Vizhipunarvu Iyakkam social welfare group submit petition to Dr. Satish Kumar seeking Covid-19 preventive measures in Sholayar
Coimbatore: Friends of Sholayar Dam social activists on the left bank of Sholayar Dam next to Valparai and Sholayar Dam Hospital, on behalf of the Samooga Samuthaya Vizhipunarvu Iyakkam met Dr. Satish Kumar and submitted a petition.
They urged immediate action in inspecting houses in Sholayar Dam area to take preventive measures against Coronavirus, conduct a health inspection in the area, issue immediate death certificates to the dead, spray disinfectants in the area, use bleaching powder for cleaning and provide safe drinking water once a week.
The doctor who received the petition promised to fulfill their requests. Currently 108 ambulance facilities are being arranged by this team in the Sholayar Dam area.
