3 thousand beds are ready in the rural area of Coimbatore district
Coimbatore: 3,000 bed facilities have been set up in 228 village panchayats in Coimbatore district.
Of these, 59 are currently receiving treatment, according to a district administration official. There are 241 corona treatment centers in 228 panchayats in Coimbatore district. There are 3 thousand bed facilities here.
A district administration official said, "There are 220 beds in 21 centers in Sulur area, 458 beds in 14 centers in Thudiyalur area, 360 beds in 17 centers in Madukkarai area, 387 beds in 39 centers in Thondamuthur area and 293 beds in 27 centers in Pollachi South area. 81 beds in 34 centers in Karamadai area, 207 beds in 18 centers in SS Kulam area, 175 beds in 8 centers in Anaimalai area, 310 beds in 21 centers in Sultanpet area, 127 beds in 20 centers in 20 centers in Annur area, 241 beds in 13 centers in Kinathukadavu area and Pollachi North area. There are 142 beds in 9 centers."
Of these, one is in Thudiyalur area, 5 in Thondamuthur area, 23 in SS Kulam area and 30 in Anaimalai area and a total of 59 people are receiving treatment. Only those who have been diagnosed without symptoms and do not have the facilities to isolate themselves at home are allowed into these centers.
