Following this, he has asked the senior officers of the Armed Forces for leave due to ill health yesterday. Meanwhile, policeman Joshua Arul is said to have given the sample for the coronavirus test and was on leave due to persistent illness. Joshua Arul fell unconscious on the road when he left home in a hurry to work at the Pudukudi check post next to Thevarayaneri as officers asked him to come to work immediately.
He was rushed to the Thuvakudi Government Hospital by fellow policemen and was rushed to the Trichy Government Hospital for treatment as he had head injury. Joshua Arul, who was later admitted to a private hospital, died shortly afterwards.

Police who have been on security duty during the coronavirus lockdown have been ordered to work in rotation on the ABC. However, in the Trichy district, the police have been deployed in AB, which has caused some mental distress and ill health, police said.

Thoovakudi police are investigating the death of the policeman. It is urged to immediately file a lawsuit against those who asked Joshua Arul to report to work even when on leave. His family is in great distress and the children's lives have gone without the warmth of a father.
